The Most Luxurious Airport Lounges in the U.S.

As a travel advisor, I have the privilege of guiding clients through every aspect of their journey, making sure that every moment of their trip is as comfortable and convenient as possible. One element of travel that is often forgotten, is the airport lounge experience. These exclusive lounges offer a break from the chaos of terminals, providing travelers with luxurious relaxation before their flights.

American Express Centurion Lounge — ATL

American Express has raised the bar with its newest Centurion Lounge with a massive 26,000 square foot location at the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL). This lounge features The Reserve, the first dedicated whiskey bar in any Centurion Lounge, premium food options and a design inspired by Atlanta’s nickname as the “City in the Forest.”

Tip: Make sure to try the Southern-inspired modern, global soul food from Chef Deborah VanTrece!  If you don’t already know who Chef Deborah is, she is a James Beard Award semifinalist, owner of three award-winning restaurants and author of the best-selling “Twisted Soul Cookbook”.

Delta Sky Club — LAX

Delta Air Lines continues to impress with its Sky Club at LAX; an expansive 30,000 square feet of space. The highlight of this lounge is the year-round open-air Sky Deck, providing panoramic views of the apron, runways and Hollywood hills. Travelers can enjoy the edge-to-edge bar offerings while soaking in the sights, making it a popular spot for plane spotting enthusiasts.

Tip: Check out the Coffee Grotto, a nook that showcases Hollywood’s Golden Age with a mosaic mural featuring glass tiles imported from Italy!
